Meet The Team

I'm Mary, I graduated from Dublin University over 20 years ago and have been working mostly in small animal practices ever since. I like that I get to follow my patients’ progress from the time we first meet through to their senior years. I get great satisfaction from educating owners about their pets' conditions and finding treatment plans to suit them, their pet and their budget. When I'm not at work I have a growing number of bee hives to look after along with five dogs, one cat, three tortoises and a growing herd of pygmy goats.

I'm Sarah, I have been with Ballymena Pet Vets since it first opened in 2019 as part of the nursing team. I have a keen interest in laboratory analysis and preventative parasite protection. You will usually find me helping out students with a coffee in hand. I have three cats. When I am not at work I enjoy fossil hunting and stargazing with my telescope.

I'm Janelle, I have been working in Ballymena Pet Vets for over 4 years as receptionist/client care advisor. When growing up I always wanted to work with animals, and I love seeing all the pets coming into the clinic and helping them feel better. I have 3 cats Jake, Olive & Eddie and a rabbit called Ivy. In my spare time I enjoy baking, archery and experimenting with different fruits & spices to make homemade mead.

I’m Sophie, and I am currently studying Veterinary Care Support. I have been with Ballymena Pet Vets since 2024. I have three dogs, called Duke, Theo and Maggie. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my dogs, and watching movies.

Hello, I’m Cassie, a Registered Veterinary Nurse who has been working in the veterinary profession since 2015. I have a particular interest in surgical nursing and enjoy being part of the patient journey from admission through to recovery and healing. Outside of the clinic, I also work on a farm and enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible. I have 2 rescue dogs called Luna and Zola, who keep me busy with beach trips, hiking adventures and surfing weekends whenever we get the chance.

Hi, my name is Gregor and I’m a veterinary surgeon. I graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2015 and have worked in general practice since, joining Ballymena Pet Vet in 2026. I have a dog called Lucy and in my spare time I enjoy sports and a range of outdoor pursuits, particularly hillwalking and running.

Hi I'm Heather, I am a Receptionist at Ballymena Pet vets. I have 3 dogs called Smudge, Tilly and Meg. In my spare time I can be found on our family farm working with sheep and cattle.
